About
Karissa Raposa is a proud New Bedford native and a graduate of New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School, Class of 2007. With more than a decade of experience as a dance teacher, Karissa has always enjoyed helping young people build confidence, creativity, and new skills.
Karissa’s journey with Our Sisters’ School began as a parent and later led her to join the Creative Suite Team. She now serves as the Field Learning Coordinator, overseeing clubs, Community Partnerships, and Field Learning opportunities that connect students with hands-on experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
Outside of OSS, Karissa enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, hiking, exploring local trails, and expressing her creativity through crafts and crochet.
