About
Kelsey Jacobsen has been teaching voice and music for over 22 years. She specializes in contemporary voice training, including but not limited to, pop, rock, r&b, country, and musical theatre. She has been trained and Level III certified in Somatic Voicework to ensure her students understand that their voice is a part of their body, and that singing needs consistent exercise and development.
Under her training with Jeanette LoVetri and Marcelle Gauvin, Kelsey honed the skill of combining stylistic accuracy and technical coordination. Her private voice studio began in 2004, where she helped students of all ages connect to and embrace their unique sound. In 2012, Kelsey opened a full range music studio in Westport, MA called Double Bar Music.
