About
As an Occupational Therapist with a passion for education, Maria is a firm believer in the power of a diverse community. She holds two Bachelor's degrees from Gothenburg University, in English and Occupational Therapy, and has dedicated her career to pediatric OT. Maria’s specialized training in evidence-based methods like Sensory Integration, Orton-Gillingham, Visualize & Verbalize, and Brain Frames allows her to bring a holistic and individualized approach to supporting students. Originally from Switzerland and raised in Sweden, Maria and her family have made their home in Fairhaven, MA, since 2015. She is excited to join the team at OSS and contribute to a school community that shares her commitment to student success.
Maria Walker joins OSS as an Interventionist, bringing her expertise as an Occupational Therapist with a strong passion for education.
