About

Adam Moniz joined OSS at the start of the 2025 school year as an Associate Teacher in the Creative Suite. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from UMass Dartmouth. Guided by both creativity and a passion for building community through art, Adam has collaborated on murals with organizations including United Way, Boston Centers for Youth and Families, New Wave Feminists, and the New Bedford Whaling Museum.

In 2024, Adam became the Director of St. Joseph’s Home for Artisans, a Boston-based artist residency that fosters faith-filled fellowship through creativity. He is excited to work as a member of our Creative Suite team and bring his energy and passion for art to the students.

Outside the classroom, Adam enjoys oil painting, playing sports and collecting sports cards, fishing, and spending time with his family and loved ones.
