Jennifer McGonagle

About
Jennifer (“Jen”) McGonagle brings over 25 years of experience as an educator to her role as OSS’s Math Teacher. She is committed to creating a classroom environment where mathematics is both rigorous and accessible, helping all students build confidence, curiosity, and joy in learning.
Drawing on her background as a middle school teacher, her training in special education, and extensive professional development in math instructional practices, Jen designs learning experiences that meet students where they are while challenging them to grow. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and Education from Mount Holyoke College and an M.Ed. in Integrative Education from Endicott College.
Outside of the classroom, Jen enjoys spending time in nature, experiencing the world through her children’s eyes, and building community through civic groups focused on the performing arts, service, and reflection. She is proud to guide students not only in developing mathematical skills but also in cultivating the cognitive tools that will serve them far beyond the classroom.
