Director of Curriculum & Instruction, Creative Suite

About

Tobey Eugenio serves as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, working closely with colleagues to design, align, and implement engaging, student-centered learning experiences across all grade levels. Together with faculty and staff, she supports curriculum development that fosters creativity, inquiry, collaboration, and problem-solving. Tobey leads the school’s Creative Suite: STEAM & Art Program, partners with educators to create student-led learning opportunities, and works with the OSS team to connect classrooms to the wider world through the Community as Campus initiatives, engaging community partners to broaden student impact and understanding through a social justice lens.

Tobey earned her B.A. from Emmanuel College with a double major in Arts and Elementary Education and an M.Ed. from Lesley University in Curriculum and Instruction. She brings over 30 years of experience in education across preschool, K–12, and college settings in both public and independent schools, and continues to learn alongside students and colleagues every day.

Beyond OSS, Tobey works as a curriculum specialist, educational consultant, and outdoor classroom designer. She serves on several local boards and supports organizations that align with her mission: to embrace the creative potential of individuals and communities as catalysts for change.

Passionate about choice, voice, and agency in learning, Tobey strives to spark curiosity, cultivate wonder, and empower students to be thoughtful, engaged citizens. A lover of the brain, nature, advocacy and most especially her family, Tobey strives to spend every moment making meaningful memories while empowering her students to be “thinkers” and celebrators of life.
